Bite Lip Bleed is a female led ska/punk band originally formed as a garage punk quartet, and eventually evolving into a furious mix of punk, traditional ska, reggae, and rock-steady among some indie and folk influences. Founded by singer Jen Cavazos (formerly of Kevin Goes 2 College) and guitarist Juan Luna (formerly with Silent Minority), Bite Lip Bleed is now a septet including members of other local acts such as The Lost Project, Kevin Goes 2 College, and horn players from local ska legends, Spies Like Us. "Settle For a Funeral" is the band's first ep. and is also the end product of a 3 year effort to solidify the band to it's now seven members.
